What are the benefits of renting vs. buying?

Renting an school band instrument is important for the first year because of several factors. The student may decide that they want to switch to a different instrument or that they do not want to pursue band class at all after the first year. With renting, you can simply return the instrument to us at any time with no obligation to buy, or even switch out the instrument for a different one.

Another perk to renting is the damage waiver we offer. With the damage waiver, any repairs or maintenance that the instrument needs is covered and can be repaired free of charge to you.

How long are your contracts?

Our contracts are month-to-month contracts, and your instrument can be returned at anytime. Our contracts are also rent to own agreements, so your monthly payments apply to the purchase price of the instrument.

We offer special discounts to our rental customers looking to purchase their rental instrument, a step-up intermediate instrument or a professional instrument, so check with us first when considering a purchase! In addition to your rental payments, we will also give you an additional cash discount if you wish to purchase your rental instrument anytime within the first 12 months! Call us at 615-896-6518 or stop by the store for more details.

Do you offer a damage waiver?

We offer a damage waiver for an additional $5-12/month that covers the cost of repairs, accidental damage and routine maintenance. Just bring the instrument back to our store, and our repair shop will fix the instrument free of charge and get it returned to you in a timely manner. If the repair is estimated to take longer than a few days, we will provide you with a loaner instrument, if available. Most of our rental customers opt to select the damage waiver, since they realize they are putting a valuable instrument into the hands of a beginner in a classroom of beginner band students, and accidents do happen.

We also offer repair services for non-rental instruments, ask for more details.

How do I make a payment?

The way to pay your monthly bill is our convenient automatic payment.
