Jake found his passion for playing music while growing up in northern Indiana, and moved to Nashville in 2012 to pursue his dream of being a professional musician. In 2016, he graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Commercial Music (Guitar). Since that time, he has been working along side multiple artists performing throughout the United States. Currently, Jake is the musical director and lead guitarist for country music artist Carlton Anderson. Jake has been teaching guitar for five years, and also teaches ukulele and mandolin.
Jacob is a Mississippi native who began playing guitar at 13 after years of piano lessons. He fell in love with the classical guitar and fingerstyle playing and put in many years of study to obtain a Masters degree from MTSU. He has performed solo on many stages in Mississippi and Tennessee, played in two rock/pop bands, and enjoys singing and playing music with his wife. Jacob brings his passion to the studio and classroom and connects with his students in an important way. When teaching, he strives to guide the student in discovering their inner musician and to build the musical foundation critical to their success. Jacob also teaches Bass Guitar in addition to Guitar.
Kyle has been teaching, performing and recording in middle Tennessee for seven years. He graduated MTSU with honors in 2012. Kyle specializes in rock, blues and jazz with emphasis on progressive lead. Currently, he is band leader of the jazz group, Roosevelt’s Rough Riders and plays lead guitar in a local R&B group.
Trammel played in various metal and reggae bands throughout high school, and decided to branch out in college. He studied Jazz at Southern Illinois University where he switched his primary instrument to guitar. Teaching guitar for the last 3 years, slapping and tapping are two techniques he focuses on which provide a unique lesson experience. Trammel’s philosophy is, as a teacher, you have to make sure you’re still taking in new information. You fail your students the minute you believe you know it all.
Cody loves teaching all types of beginners and intermediate students, with experience teaching kids that have diagnosed ADHD, dyslexia and other learning challenges. He enjoys playing and studying jazz, rock, and pop. Through middle school and high school Cody played in the jazz band at KCYB and multiple rock bands. He continued studying music at Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville, while playing in the school’s guitar ensemble and jazz band.
Dynamic and engaging teacher in guitar and piano. With over 35 years of teaching experience, Christian recognizes the inherent ability in students of all ages. He designs a music curriculum based on each individual’s taste in music and learning style. Christian received a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education with an emphasis in jazz and classical guitar and piano pedagogy from Northern Illinois University.
